I appreciate that Dolly Parton refused to participate in "dress respectability" and, by her own account, modeled her aesthetic after a town "tramp," who she thought was beautiful. She separated aesthetics from character and understood "classiness" to be about how you treat people, not how you dress.

Both people are wearing suits. The one on the left is saying, “Shane!!! It’s GAWGEOUS! What did it cost?” And Minister for Resources, Shane Jones, is saying, “A World Heritage Site, some precious ecology, a buggered up landscape, intergenerational slag heaps, and damage to our international reputation” In the lower corner Shane Jones is walking away, with the giant blingy ring on his finger, saying. “A snip!”
