I say this a lot but when I started in the comics industry, for whatever reason, there were almost no women working as creators in mainstream comics. Quite a few in indie books and some behind the scenes. But not many with their name on the front of a DC/Marvel book. The legends had left.

This girl I used to waitress with in Austin, we moved to New York together in 2003 on a literal Greyhound bus. Shared a fifth floor walk-up studio that, when it rained, had more leaks in the ceiling than we had pots and pans. We used to get drunk and smoke off the fire escape and do “sad-offs.”

I really like all of it. But, the lore is my favorite thing. It makes it feel like a real and lived in inverse. Especially with the way the sourcebooks are all in universe which allows things to change and it was all just a matter of perspective as to why it was different before.

This has been studied quite a bit, the solar panels create a sort of greenhouse effect for the plants underneath them while also generating energy which feels like it should be cheating but is real and literally only has upsides.
