Why do I equip my blood sea minotaurs with Hoplites type Bronze Armor & Aspis, when they are advanced enough for steel? Because they are primarily sea raiders. The Bronze Armor has two key advantages for them. 1) Corrosion resistance. 2) Faster to equip than most later armor types.

I miss having the control of my hands to be able to draw like this. And that's not even some top tier "ZOMG" art like some of my peers crank out. But still.... was good for me. The Dougram/Shadow Hawk was a bit simplified, but 'twas a stylistic choice. Now? Simple is best I can do.

got woke up at 1:20am by an earthquake. Minor one, only 4.6, but very close and very shallow, so was one huge jolt, like a car hitting a building. Now got torrential downpour, ahead of Rachel, which should be swinging past as a Hurricane tomorrow. Busy week and it's only monday.

why is it so darn hard to find Bamboo Rayon towels these days? I HATE cotton towels. No matter how pricy & fluffy they start? In under a year? Falt & scratchy AF. Big Autistic Turnoff right there. My cheapo Sears Bamboo towels after 12 years are still softer/fluffier than a cotton after 6 months.

I think I need a Blowtorch. Made Mexican Chipotle Shrimp Fried Rice yesterday, and it came out OK, but the inability of my burners to achieve proper Wok Hei left it falling JUST short on flavor and texture. A GOOD Wok would be nice too, but a waste without enough FIRE.

the beastie has cranked back up to Cat 5.. though it's slowed it's pace again, for now, to 3.6 mph (5.8 kph), so it's gonna take it's flipping time. Things have been calm here (too calm?) so far but I expect tomorrow will finally start seeing some shenanigans.

I haven't collected Marvel Legends since the early 00s... but... wow. Especially that Pyslocke. I am the rare weirdo who loved the OG Betsy Braddock Psylocke, not the Kwannon Ninja nonsense... Nimrod, classic Wolverine, Spiral? WOW. Though still haven't made a great Nightcrawler figure, IMO.

One of my great passions while diving, is Macro-Photography. To give an idea of the size of the subjects I am photographing, while fighting the currents, here is a Flabellina cynara nudibranch (a relative of sea slugs). And that is the tip of my left index finger next to it. (Approximate size, 6mm)
