There’s no reason to try to find the “good side” of the Xbox layoffs. They’re selling 2 studios to ???, 2 more are going indie, all while facing a dire economy and a lack of funding, and they’re just starting to put Arkane through this process. This isn’t generosity, it’s ducking responsibility

This can’t be stated enough. When you really get down to it and do history focused work, you realize just how much isn’t digitized. There’s times I’d think “oh this must be digitized” but it never is. I was trying to find info on the queer culture of a state, and so much stuff wasn’t digitized
