What a lie. Some of these people are being imprisoned indefinitely in squalid condition in African prisons. Others report being beaten and arbitrarily deported in violation of international law back to their home countries, where they face persecution or torture.

The indefinite nature of their confinement has taken a severe toll. In October 2025, a Cuban man who was on the July flight went on a hunger strike for a month-until he started showing signs of organ failure —to protest the conditions of his detention, including his ongoing confinement and lack of access to legal counsel.
Terrified of being imprisoned in Eswatini forever, another man repeatedly told his attorney that the prison there never lets people go. One man told his attorney that he feels like a caged animal with no end in sight. The prison does not have air conditioning, making the hot, humid summer months especially uncomfortable for the men.
Food is insufficient, medication is scarce, and requests often go unmet or are belatedly met.

The flips side of this is that if you stop the time shift to protect these "very distinguished people" who are scared to leave work in the dark, you are ok or unaware of all the kids that will then have to leave for school in the dark.

I don’t know about anyone else, but a table full of very distinguished people just told me that they HATE, immediately after a mandatory time change, going home at night – and it’s DARK. It’s depressing! One of the gentleman stated that, “I just hate going home in darkness.” It’s also, in Crime Ridden Blue States, a lot more dangerous to be walking home in the dark! Not a bad idea. The NFL rightsholders have decided (likely with some Shield nudging) to erase Deshaun Watson's past and reframe him as a comeback figure who we are supposed to root for. He's a piece of shit and everyone contributing to this whitewash should be ashamed of themselves.
