I just wanted Kilowog to show up. He's fun.

Julios @juliosmaxwell.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Finished Lanterns. Overall I liked it. As a comic fan I was kinda let down they had no actual aliens that weren't just people walking around I get it's a TV show but still. The show will be fun for TV show watchers to get into Green Lantern stories without it being a CGI fest of moving faces.

I work for a book store company in Canada and we got 0 copies at a downtown location. I'm fixing that by ordering more in tomorrow 👍

How Esad Ribić draws Thor has been the highlight for sure. Even small moments with genuine emotion on his face for what Gorr puts him through. Though I can't lie there are some really funny out of context faces Thor makes on some pages that do make me pause and laugh.

Started reading Jason Aaron and Esad Ribić's Thor: God of Thunder (thanks to @kitedarkside.bsky.social) and it's real good so far. The art has been great so far. The story especially with the multiple timelines has been fun. Watching videos about Gorr the God Butcher didn't do this comic justice.

Why draw boring (and deeply problematic) wizard stuff when you could be drawing good wizard/witch characters this spooky season!

A good fresh Star Trek take on those fake isekai title jokes

A tumblr screenshot showing a post and two reblog responses, reading:
1. "star trek would be the ideal fictional universe to get trapped in because you'd explain your situation and they'd be like yeah makes sense. no further questions. fortunately we can use the mysterious warp signature emitting from this system's icy moon to counterface with the solar radiation and slingshot you back home"
2. "I'm from a universe where your world is all a work of fiction." Benjamin Sisko, nodding. "That happened to me once."
3. "I Got Isekaid Into The Star Trek Universe And They Quickly Understood What Was Happening"

Five years ago, when a Seattle burger chain raised employee wages & benefits the Reicht wing lost their minds, screaming the result would be $20 burgers & the company would end in bankruptcy. Today, the chain is even more popular than ever. Never let them try to tell you a living wage can’t work.

The film is written, directed, and co-stars Hitoshi Ozawa, a legendary Yakuza actor who is a villain in Yakuza 0, who got his fellow legends involved. This was his passion project inspired by one of his best friends, a trans woman, and he worked with the community for representative casting.

Black and White are my personal favorites that have a good variety, hard fights and decent progression. Best Exp system IMO. Though if you wanna go back to Gen 3 or 4 LeafGreen/FireRed on Switch for classic era Pokemon and ease of recording or Heartgold/Soulsilver for QoL and best Gen 4 gameplay.

Last nights episode was the first time Jon Stewart went off world and they had to portal him there. Which is fine for the story being told. I think this will be good jumping off point for people who are more used to grounded stories. For me though I wanna see some Lanterns. Get Kilowog in there man.

Lanterns has been very good so far. Watched last weeks and yesterdays episode. Show has had a stellar cast so far and gripping story. Very HBO Tv though. So while I've enjoyed the plot so far it's been very sparse with comic book stuff. Was kinda hoping we would get more off world stuff.

New year, new 9 games that made me. Not much has changed since last time but I will say this website is super slick for choices and lists. my9games.net/en #My9Games Doesn't include expansions though cause I would've swapped out FFXIV for Shadowbringers but point still stands.

Top to bottom My9Games. DMC4, Kingdom Hearts 2, Ratchet and Clank Up Your Arsenal, Fallout New Vegas, Persona 4, Pokemon White, Dark Souls, FFXIV and Lies of P.

Heard rumblings about this movie for a bit. I've loved Brad Bird's work all my life but he does miss occasionally. It does hurt because he has one of the most decorated animation resumes in the business. This article has sold me to watch this movie. If anything to see Bird's vision finally realized.

The lyrics of Chase are so good. They can be read from Josuke's perspective or Kira's perspective. Just brilliant style of story telling through music.
