"Hunter Biden was on a board in Ukraine" was enough to whatabout away Trump family corruption And "Twitter made exceptions for Trump but got a request from a Dem they rejected" was enough to "prove" bias *against* the right So "Smith was in Georgia, where Fanny Willis is" should've been enough too

Nothing to see here. Just an orchestrated media campaign built around Sen Schmitt's perjury ploy at the Jack Smith hearing today. It began with the Axios 'he could be VP' piece posted this AM & includes this surely pre-planned spot on the Kirk show with the failed attack sandwiched in the middle.

HOLD UP. A US Senator just royally f*cked up on live TV in a crucial hearing. This isn't a 'misunderstanding.' This was a high stakes political ploy to set a perjury trap for Jack Smith and it failed miserably. Say that. www.nytimes.com/live/2026/09...
Live Updates: Jack Smith, Who Charged Trump, Testifies in Combative Hearing

Republicans have called for the former special counsel to be criminally prosecuted. One Republican senator accused Mr. Smith of perjury, though the accusation appeared to be based on a misunderstanding.

This may be felony criminal theft and conversion of government property for political campaign purposes. 18 U.S.C. § 1641. It is a Hatch Act violation for any government employees who worked on it or used government resources to make it. It is blatantly unethical under numerous federal ethics provisions proscribing the use of government resources for political campaigns.
