I am as white as a hotel towel, and the closest thing to Mexican I am was a single all inclusive resort stay in Cancun. I put a Mexican flag sticker on my old Tacoma abd was promptly pulled over by ICE in San Antonio. I'm happy to waste their time

I was too young to comprehend the larger geopolitical context in which it unfolded, but some of the most glaring memories from my childhood were images of the famine in Somalia. It's heartbreaking that the hell unfolding in Sudan now is barely being mentioned by the media.
