The more I work with LLMs and agents, the more I'm gobsmacked by the n^2 nature of how conversations are handled. For every turn of the conversation, you send the entire previous conversation. This means the costs compound the longer the conversation goes on.

As markdown becomes more and more common with agent heavy workflows, I'm becoming a huge fan of semantic line breaks (line per sentence - sembr.org) but the tools out there were buggy. I needed it as a library too. I wrote a new utility called mdreflow. Check it out: github.com/jbeda/mdreflow
