Someone had way too much of a budget for these trash cans. Yes, those are 3 separate displays, each running a React App in Chromium served from localhost. They show looping animations of what goes in each bin. It’s gonna be awhile before I accuse myself of over-engineering something again.

I picked up a dog crate in preparation for taking our lab on a flight. It’s been years since he was in a crate, and he is loving it. He’s been in it from the minute I got it inside and he is choosing to sleep in it instead of his bed.

I was conflicted the other day. Curious what others would do. At a light in town next to a 2000s minivan with temp tags. Back window is busted out and covered in a trash bag. Mom driving, Dad in front seat bouncing an infant on his lap. 4-year-old walking around in the back. All happy and laughing.

In 2025 (less than 30 days away), PayPal will start selling your transaction history for targeted advertising. I very highly recommend logging into your account and going to Settings > Data & Privacy > Personalized Shopping. If you're reading this, turn that off RIGHT NOW before you forget.

A screenshot of PayPal's terms of service. Big wall of legalese text, which I will be pasting in below. You don't need to read it, here's the important part:

Like most, our microwave has a 'Pizza' button. Reheating 2 pieces of pizza always needs an extra 30 seconds, but the '+30' button is disabled while on Pizza mode despite it being a fixed amount of time per slice entered.

I upgrade an entire project from .NET 8 to .NET 9, it just works. No hassle. Just... done. I try to run a nodeJS build that worked YESTERDAY, with no changes, and it fails because the nodeJS ecosystem is about as stable as a tectonically active goth on rollerskates after a litre of supermarket gin.
