We had the honor of meeting LGen Rohmer of the Royal Canadian Air Force 2 years ago in Caen, France (he turned 102 in Jan!). He performed critical aerial reconn over Nazi-occupied France in advance of DDay. Canada is our ally and has been for every battle for over a century.

Ended the day back at Great Waves at Cameron Run Regional Park. I spoke to the team as part of our aquatics kick-off as they participate in safety training. This summer NOVA Parks has hired 600 seasonal employees and we remain one of the largest youth employers in the region!

Five and a half years ago, I pulled off on the side of the road on vacation in Nelson County (the only area nearby with cell coverage) to announce our deal to bring Inova Alexandria Hospital Landmark. Yesterday, we celebrated the “topping off” in construction for the new hospital!
