things I couldn't see. And when one guy (who is always a jerk to everybody) asked why I didn't do something, I told him it was because I couldn't see it. (He made fun of me, of course.) And I thought about how hard I'd worked at raid tonight. And how hard I work at it every week. Especially 2/3

You know, in the middle of raid, I figured out why I'm tired so much of the time. I'd just blamed it on being old because I'm 70. Even though I don't really feel old. (What does old feel like, anyway?) But there was a really difficult part in raid. Hard for everyone. But, for me...there were 1/3

Short version: Woman finds drunk ICE agent asleep on lawn, her father goes out to wake him up and chase him off, ICE agent assaults them both, woman's cop boyfriend arrests ICE agent. I can almost guarantee the story would be very different if her boyfriend wasn't a cop.

And, naturally, they're also going to hit us with ICE for 45 days. Sigh.

Zelenskyy, my brother, the answer to this is simple. Quadruple the bombing of oil & gas refineries. Then, as 007 once said, That's detente, comrade. You don't have it. I don't have it. And Russia SUFFERS

We will go forward without them. F/SF began as a niche market, small press, smaller companies, before mergers ate them all and crushed numbers to create uniformity by algorithm. The future will return, the hotbed of ideas will be grown from the grassroots upward.

Graphite drawing of a feline skull with black teeth and a glowing gold crescent moon in its forehead. Underneath is a gold line with an upside down triangle, it resembles of pendulum. Magical, smoky flames frame the skull.

We can't expect students to learn if they're hungry. Whether they're in kindergarten, high school, or college — it's just common sense. That's why we're making it easier for UC, CSU, and CC students to apply for CalFresh and get healthy, nutritious food.
