The #Astarion book just keeps getting better as I go. I really think she knocked it out of the park on this one. My shirt is soggy right now but I’m laughing through it. I know some people object to the paladin but I think it’s a perfect and poignant choice. As someone with trauma… it fits. 😭

This book is excellent. @tkingfisher.com has done an excellent job keeping the complexity of the character and the complexities of his trauma in this work. I think it was brave of the author to do it, just knowing how particular the fandom can be. But I’ve already cried twice. It’s heavy and deep,

Belt pouch. A bit plain for now, but when the copper chaining arrives, the top flap will have chain on which the witch who will use it can affix his trinkets. #leatherworking

Brown belt pouch with a gem inlay. The flaps are of a medium-dark warm chrome tan, the bulk of the bag is a dark warm suede. The gem inlay was chosen by the client; I don’t know the type of gem, but it is brown and mottled with cloudy parts. The drawstrings are purple ecosoft, braided. Two belt loops stick up from the top.

A husky-border collie-Aussie mix, black fur, white socks, with intense butt fluff. He’s melted on the tile floor. His life is so taxing, you know? He has to be cute all the time, play tug and fetch, eat socks and puke them up, and do it all while being fed, groomed, and cuddled. So hard.

I bought mushroom solar powered lights for the walkway outside awhile ago, in the before times. I never put them out, for fear they’d break with the lawn mower and such going. I occurred to me that I have a grow light for my indoor plants on a 12 hour timer, and the lights have long wires between.
