Local HERO in Kansas gets arrested for slashing ICE agent's tires. In an effort to deescalate the surrounding crowd, the cop arresting him yelled that the Kansas man is being arrested for slashing tires. The crowd cheered in response to that and basically gave the man a standing ovation.

And, since 1978, both sides have been complicit, allowing this to happen. At any point in the last 48 years they could've done things to reverse this or at least make it so it wasn't such a huge gap.
