And for anyone wondering, I regret my choice. Mint doesn't allow MMS over wifi unless RCS chat is enabled (which means no texting without an internet connection or Mobile data has to be on. It was literally the one thing I was avoiding, and Verizon did MMS without mobile data or RCS.

@mintmobilecares.bsky.social it kind of stinks to not be able to send MMS over WiFi with mobile data turned off, and/or RCS enabled. I should be able to send and receive texts without an internet connection. Wish I had known this before switching from Verizon!

After 15+ years, I finally left Verizon and joined Mint Mobile. I'll spend less in a year than I spent in under three months with Verizon (with 12x the data allowance). It's been great, folks, but I'm moving in a different direction.

A lot of people don’t realize the dust bowl wasn’t a natural phenomenon. It happened when agrobusiness interests dramatically transformed the plains without regard for drought, and created vicious dust storms that choked whole families to death. That’s what I think of when I read about data centers.

ICE shot and killed Joan Sebasatian Guerrero at 7:15 AM. His three-year-old daughter will never see her dad again. It took DHS 12 HOURS to release a statement. They claim the officer shot Joan out of fear for "public safety"—NOT his own life. Everything about ICE’s conduct is unconscionable.
