I will never forgive or forget a single Republican Senator who voted yes on RFK Jr.’s confirmation as HHS Secretary. But as you know I hold especial contempt for Bill Cassidy (R, Invertebrate) for greasing the skids for RFK Jr. and for the destruction of U.S. public health.

Killed. NSF’s SBE was killed, in violation of law. The President does not have the power to choose to kill programs at a whim by defunding them. The imperial presidency was a mistake and we are in a separation of powers constitutional crisis.

Immune amnesia resulting from measles is often overlooked. “People get measles, and then afterwards they will have recurrent ear infections or pneumonia, but they don’t tie it back to measles. They think, ‘Oh, this is just bad luck that I happen to have this ear infection or that I got pneumonia.’”

Another quote from RFK Jr.’s podcast on ibogaine: “One of the things we are trying to do is to figure out how to get data on all of this to supply to the FDA to get approval for an IND to do a study…most of the stories that you hear are what we would term anecdotal…”. This is not how an IND works.
