Popperin suvaitsevaisuusparadoksi varoittaa että suvaitsemattomuutta ei pidä suvaita sillä muutoin suvaitsevaisuus murskataan. Tällä ei ole yhteyttä poliittisiin suuntauksiin vaikka viher-vasemmisto perinteisesti on ollut pienen ihmisen asialla ja heikomman puolella suvaitsemattomuutta vastaan.
