The creators of any AI, however autonomous they claim it is, should be legally responsible for any damage or law breaking it carries out. Simple.

Like a lot of journalists these days, they are just crabs in a bucket. The amount of times that I have seen them rally around the flag blithering on about fraternity or the "institution" when it suits them is nauseating.

Some songs, particularly when heard live, capture a time, place and a feeling. AI generated music occupies the same emotional space as cheap advertising jingles, disposable plastic and disconnected. It's as if these men (because it's oddly always men) just refuse to understand art.

For songs about pain, romance and the human condition how can an AI artist, that could never take to the stage and be vulnerable, capture that? These people are freaks.

It also will likely if Hegseth had his way completely incapable of understanding, interacting with and managing civilian populations. He, I think, has a doctrinal model closer to Einsatzgruppen than a functional army.

This never-ending focus on lethality and destruction is going to severely inhibit the US Army's capacity to operate. I keep thinking of the operation to save Mosul Dam. Critical for the security of Iraq and dependent on civilian expertise. The army is to slowly become a blunt stupid implement.

I think it was a pop at the Green's slogan "Let's make hope normal again." But this speech is a marked departure from Starmer.

The problem is it really isn't any more complicated than that. I repeatedly have to argue that my figures are right when demand side renewables prove to be cheaper than the UK grid. The numbers are so lopsided they look "fake". Fossil fuels are, objectively, the wrong way to power the future.

It might not be able to attack Europe, that doesn't necessarily mean it wont. I think the regime would prefer to be roundly defeated by an external force like NATO than admit it was always incapable.

I am so sick and tired of the politics of this country being dominated by a minute number of people illegally crossing the channel. There are so many bigger, and more troublesome, fish to fry. Housing, climate, care, water, transport, defence... All sacrificed at the altar of the fucking boats.

The balaclava blackshirted thugs are a result of a decade of politicians, tabloids and the broadcast media telling racists they have "legitimate concerns." The normalisation of actual fascism rhetoric and action has led to this and is a far greater "legitimate concern" than any migrant on a boat.
