Really wish this was true. But a man with wealth and power can do whatever he wants and he will usually find a woman to defend him and not give a damn. There's no justice in the world but that which we make. These men will mostly be fine in 20years unless they are tried, convicted and sent to jail.

Farmers are told these chemicals are the only way. But from my field experience, I see the truth: pesticides are a temporary fix that creates a permanent problem. They kill the pests, but they also kill the beneficial insects, degrade the soil, and lead to superweeds. It's a vicious cycle.

This poison doesn't just kill bugs. It poisons 385 MILLION people every year and kills 11,000 farmers annually. In West Africa alone, 48.9% of farmers suffer acute poisoning every year. Who is holding these companies accountable?

‘Godzilla’ of weight-loss drugs could provide other important health benefits
Though not yet approved by any regulatory agency, retatrutide could help improve blood sugar levels and reduce inflammation The ‘Godzilla’ of weight-loss drugs could help improve blood sugar levels, reduce inflammation and cut a person’s body weight by a quarter, according to the largest study of its kind. Retatrutide mimics three key gut hormones that help control appetite, blood sugar and metabolism: GLP-1, GIP and glucagon. Unlike other drugs such as Wegovy, which primarily targets the GLP-1 pathway to suppress appetite, or Mounjaro, which contains GLP-1 plus GIP to control blood sugar levels, retatrutide also engages the glucagon receptor, which helps increase energy expenditure. If you're wondering why they don't go to court with their high paid lawyers for an easy win, it's because this allows Google to bribe Trump. All the big players are way over their skis on AI investment and are sure they will need a bailout at some point. It's 2009 but for tech instead of housing

T'Lyn (from Lower Decks) stands with her hands behind her back. She stands in front of an inspirational poster depicting the moon and a person reaching toward it. On the poster is the quote, "Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars." Attributes to Norman Vincent Peale. In the bottom right corner of the image is T'Lyn's caption: "Logically, if one lands among the stars when aiming for the moon then they have severely overshot. Possibly even broken the Warp 10 barrier."

I’ve been noting that one of the main use cases that everyday users had already been putting LLMs and agents to use is the compilation of dossiers for peer-on-peer surveillance and automated gang-stalking (swarm-stalking) of other citizens, so of course Meta is copying that as a feature.

A key component of the Cambridge Analytica outrage was your friends subjecting you to data theft without your consent or knowledge. Facebook is running the same playbook on your text messages. Even if you’re not on Meta properties, they’re ingesting your interactions.
Aten installed Muse on both his iPhone and a Mac mini that he uses to test out various Al agents and tech. It took Meta a single day to begin "helpfully" pitching article ideas based on texts he'd sent to a podcast co-host.
When he asked Muse how it got the information, it said that it read banners from incoming texts. But that's not true, either.
After doing a little digging, Aten says Muse synced 187,000 lines from his Messages database, despite Full Disk Access being Off.Unless Aten is the most popular person on the face of the planet, I sincerely doubt he'd gotten 187,000 lines of text in roughly 24 hours. What happened is that, without permission, Muse went into the app and downloaded the information.
He had not given Muse permission to access Messages, and full disk access was not enabled. It just went ahead and uploaded those texts anyway.
Muse can take "unexpected actions" indeed.
