🌑 Clear skies ahead? October's Dark Sky Window runs from October 4–12! With the Moon approaching its new phase on October 10, this is a great opportunity to observe faint celestial treasures like galaxies, nebulae, and star clusters without bright moonlight washing out the view. 🔭
The provided image is a star chart titled "Navigating the October Night Sky 2026," published by the Astronomical League. It is designed for observers in the middle northern latitudes to help locate prominent constellations, stars, and deep-sky objects during October 2026 (specifically around 9:00 p.m. in early October and 8:00 p.m. in late October).
