An important bit of immigration law which is relevant here; there is already a waiver process — Section 212(k) of the INA — by which immigrants who obtain status through fraud that they didn't know about can avoid consequences like losing a green card. So this is *even weaker* than it already seems.

As the Trump administration has relentlessly pursued immigrants, federal agents have run roughshod over the constitutional rights of U.S. citizens. We’re showing you every incident we’ve confirmed — along with the receipts: propub.li/3TBuddL
500+ U.S. citizens detained since the start of the second Trump administration. 100+ U.S. citizens held after agents questioned their citizenship. Nearly all of them were people of color. At least 70 American children and teens detained, some of whom were handcuffed. 36 U.S. citizens held for at least a day without being able to contact a lawyer or family.

The more combative Dems get, the more of this they will run into. It will be a coordinated wave of elite opinion, scolding them, tamping them down. The fight strategy *only* works if they are willing to bull their way through it, blow it off, mock it. (Their history does not raise one's hopes.)

3 is the closest they get to being a traditional slasher series. I don't think it's very good, but it expands the idea beyond the Cotton household and that's worth something.

Its worth pointing out that Cloud Fare bot data is not about hostile actors that we call bots but actual mechanical bots that all search engines use for indexing, web crawlers and API access. Its good that its down but it has nothing to do with propaganda as such

It's when a location is completely anonymized that it bugs me. Or when, say a TV show tries to cover the very obvious local by pretending it takes place in a near by city to the extent that the fan name of Seacouver shows up on the wiki and in the merch catalogue.

Hellraiser 3 also hits one of my pet peeves. You shot the movie in Wilmington, North Carolina, it's okay to set the movie in Wilmington. Things are allowed to happen in Wilmington. But all they say is "We're downtown and the Metropolitan Police are on the way."

Hellraiser 2 actually holds up better than I remember. It's a different beast than the first one, but it still works. Hellraiser 3 still kinda sucks though. I know there are people who like it, but I am not one of them. Whatever 1992 low budget charm people see, is lost on me.

Russian bot traffic has dropped to nearly 0 after Ukraine struck a Yandex data center in Vladimir, Russia
• Source Network: AS13238 YANDEX – Yandex LLC (Russian Federation)
• Traffic Breakdown: Prior to the drop, bot traffic accounted for roughly 99.6% of requests compared to 0.4% human traffic.
• Event Cause: The sudden plunge to zero on October 11, 2026, corresponds to a reported military/drone attack on Yandex's data center facility in Vladimir, Russia—marking the third reported attack on Yandex data infrastructure since October 8.

Low-hanging fruit for reporters and Dem trackers: ask a Republican running for office, "what would you do if you were in a car with your child and men in hoodies charged at you with guns drawn?" Follow up with "do you think it's reasonable for a parent in that situation to use lethal force?"

Thinking of getting art supplies as a gift for someone? First tip is that if someone already has an art hobby, they probably have a ridiculously narrow list of favorites they have carefully selected over the course of years, so the best idea is a gift certificate to their nearest art shop.

It's extremely corrosive to civil order that we hear "Trump is breaking the law" and most people think "when I break the law I am *minimally* involved in a drawn out cruel display of state power and *maximally* deprived of my freedom" and for actual members of the government its a "whoopsie".

One of the things I have always found interesting about Carlin is how he could speak seriously about things. He didn't approach interviews still trying to have a joke every sentence. He's not trying to be the smartest guy in the room (even though he often was) but rather talk about the subject.

The image is of a four panel comic.
The first panel is titled “things that are spooky”. We see a book of hexes, a skull, candles, a pentagram in blood, and vampire teeth. Pointing off panel we see a speech bubble that says “I love it”.
The second panel is titled “things that are cute”. We see a strawberry cake, a boba drink, a bunny plushie, and a cute notebook and pen. Again, we see a speech bubble pointing off panel that says “I love it”.
The third panel is titled “things that are spooky AND cute”. We see a row of cute decorative ghosts.
The fourth panel shows Sarah, the protagonist, completely freaking out at this combination.
