Hey y'all. I'm in a really bad place financially and really need help. If you can donate anything, it'd be appreciated. I and my husband are struggling to pay for food, hygiene products, and medicine. I'm working two jobs right now, and it's still not enough. gofund.me/a7cadcf04

the amount of times ppl reflexively defend themselves when I describe my own street dance journey & training! “can’t dance” “no rhythm” “oh I wish but” “hmm exercise” my friend I have not demanded a thing from you, this reaction is coming from within, and we both know the answer 👯‍♀️

grace @grace.lol · 13/09/2026

white western culture does not allow dance. we did not grow up dancing at home, we did not learn movement as a language, we expect surveillance and humiliation when we dare to express ourselves. notable, yet highly structured, exception: chicken dance at weddings

wow I just read the Wide Events post and it’s repetitive nonsense. almost mystical. invokes (presumed) fear several times. “how do you find the fields that matter amongst hundreds” yeah man who knows, a real mystery 🫧 ⬆️ so sorry you have to deal with this and others 😞 ❤️

I don't know what's more damning, the possibility of some guy with one of the worst cases of CEO brain typing "who is Stella" into Claude because his grey matter is too rotted to remember who he hired or him thinking its a sick own on a former employee to lie about having done that in the press

Reminder that Klingons say TRANS RIGHTS BRING HONOR TO YOUR HOUSE

DS9 scene: Kor, a Klingon, greets Dax as Curzon. Dax corrects him as the host is now in Jadzia, a Trill female. Cor immediately responds, "Jadzia, my beloved old friend" without missing a beat.

Right: Two tweets from 2019: "This Pride Month, never forget that Klingons had trans rights"; "No hostility, no confusion, no clumsy excuse-filled justification, just a quick self-correction and the exact same amount of love and respect before and after. Cis allies: Be like Kor."

There's a "is anyone even reading this" sort of honesty you get in the software update release notes from a project that's been around for a long time.

The screenshot of the release notes reads:

A new version of TeX Live Utility is available!
TeX Live Utility 1.55 is now available-you have 1.54. Would you like to download it now?
Release Notes:
Changes Since 1.54
• Fix bug 137, homepage link in Help Book.
• First release in a long time, since I don't use TeX anymore and resent the very idea of paying Apple annually for the privilege of giving away free and open-source software. Also, I'm really lazy. Please accept my apologies for all the annoying issues you've encountered in this mission-critical software.
• Updated mirror list, which was three years out of date.
• Added missing legacy mirrors, which was even more out of date.
• Added an alert on startup when user tries Homebrew's lobotomized MacTex, because those lunatics left timgr but removed its database.
Thanks for nothing, guys. Bug 142 and 144.
• Use a custom user-agent to work around the Anubis bot trap on texlive.info. Can't wait to see what else breaks because of this, thanks to the profusion of degenerate Artificial Insemination fetishists scraping websites to feed their models.
• Lists of countries in Repository/Continent are now sorted. No idea how you people let me get away with that one for the last fifteen years.

ABC Vancouver has ruled that Pete Fry's motion saying that Vancouver opposes ICE agents in Vancouver and asking Ottawa to reject deployment during the World Cup is invalid and cannot be voted on. They say it's because they have assurances from the US that they won't be sending ICE agents.

new candles, new bug report 🪻🌲🪲✍️ bugsrock.online/blog/februar...

A photo of two candles on a green backdrops surrounded by amethysts, strawberry candies, a dish filled with green-tipped matches, and a green chrome 20 sided roll to 11 because my birthday is on the 11th. The candle on the left is a green two-tiered cubic pillar candle with a handmade terrazzo-like style green pattern on the tops of each tier. on the right is a periwinkle glass with white wax candle called lavender smoke.
