Let me talk to you a second. If you are having a rough morning, please stop what you are doing. Turn everything off. Turn the volume up, and just chill and listen to this once or twice or more. It's such a chill vibe. 🥰 The rest of the day will be better. 🥰

Painted Bunting (Passerina ciris): This is a species in the Cardinal family. The bright coloured plumage of the male of this 14cm (5.5in) bird only develops in its second year. These North American birds feed on seed. Gorgeous photo taken by Stacey Rich Bergman in the United States. #bunting #usa

The Little Dutch Church in Halifax is the second-oldest building in the city. Built in 1756, only the St. Paul's Anglican Church is older. To this day, it is still used occasionally for services and is a National Historic Site. This is the story of the church. 🧵 1/8
A small, light gray church with a tall, pointed steeple topped with a weather vane, set against a clear blue sky. The church has a simple design with dark window shutters and a single door. In the foreground, there is a grassy area with several old, weathered gravestones, indicating a cemetery. Bare trees and a chain-link fence are visible on the right side.

On this day in 1929, Graeme Ferguson was born in Toronto. An experimental filmmaker, he was a co-founder of IMAX. He served as president of IMAX from 1970 to 1990. He was awarded a Special Achievement Genie in 1983 and the Order of Canada in 1992. He died in 2021.
This black-and-white photograph captures IMAX co-founder and cinematographer Graeme Ferguson with gray hair intently peering through the viewfinder of a large IMAX camera mounted on a tripod, adjusting it with one hand. He wears a light-colored jacket and lanyard, set in an outdoor stadium with overhead lights, beams, and a blurred crowd in the background, evoking a 1980s film production scene.

I miss the nonchalant way in which autumn used to arrive; gradually cooling from shorts, to pants, to cardigans into barn jackets breaking in the foals. We have been fools thinking Earth will acquiesce after we have #abused the fragile being of our own existence. #emoetry
Foggy early morning with some trees & bushes semi obscured, a lawn with a driveway running through it can also be seen
