September #JobsDay numbers show job growth has slowed with payrolls rising by only 29,000. Unemployment rose slightly to 4.2%, and payrolls were revised down by 60,000 for the months of July and August. (1/7)

I organized an economist amicus brief in support of affirmance of the Court of International Trade's ruling in Oregon v. Trump and Burlap and Barrel v. Donald J. Trump that the administration exceeded its authority when it imposed 10% worldwide tariffs under Section 122 of the Trade Act of 1974.

Two examples of politicization today: 1/ Political appointees putting out reports under the Census banner that is bunk. There is a reason the authors won't stand behind their work. Any serious data researcher would be embarrassed. Creates doubts both about the election and the integrity of Census.
