Capturing the red afterglow in the eastern sky after the sun has set in the west. The narrow band of pinkish red is often referred to as the 'Belt of Venus', caused by sunlight being backscattered off dust, particles, and air molecules high up in the atmosphere. The darker area directly beneath the 'belt' is actually the Earth's shadow as it rises into the atmosphere.
