And when you reach the end of the escalator/moving walkway/staircase and you need to look at your phone/wayfinding signage? DON’T STOP. MOVE OUT OF THE WAY. You can see it all easily from the angle of Not Blocking Traffic.

Jeff Bezos and I are very different people. For one thing, he is a sociopathic billionaire who built his fortune by monopolizing bookselling while I am a penniless author of books. He was born in 1964 and is 62; I was born in 1971 and am 55.
A mason jar of piss with Jeff Bezos's laughing head submerged in it.

Very telling that Google search results for "angie nixon official site" yield one sponsored result: the DSCC, with multiple lines of links. The DSCC is not supporting her, but will pretend to and take your money anyway. Apropos of nothing, Chuck Schumer is a dick.

It is worth noting that it was 🇺🇦 auditors who uncovered the $1.2B figure. NY Times acknowledges it, but chooses to dwell on “how dare they not be perfect!” rather than corruption is a problem, but 🇺🇦 is doing its best to solve it while graft in the U.S. just hit its highest point in decades.

Rudy Giuliani is why a lot of people died during and after 9/11. Has anyone said he shouldn't show up? How about George W. who cut anti-terrorism measures that might've prevented it? Why does racist fantasy harm matter more than real harm; the answer is racism, including in amplifying these voices.

As someone who is very deeply into preservation and archival work of media, this ain't it. It is one thing to have back-ups of media that is no longer easily purchased or long out of print but these are recently published, actively sold works that are directly tied to the writers and artists' income

Wow. The ICE shooter in Maine asked his ex-wife to "to lie for him and to cover for his character." She said he was abusive and had previously reported concerns about him to his military superiors. He was also a volunteer firefighter, but was removed after several spats with department leadership.

Also caught up in this case: Elizabeth Soto got 50 years for "providing material support" to terrorists... by printing zines (which included feminist lit, anti-AI rants, and poetry about losing a sibling to cancer) and being in a leftist book club. www.theguardian.com/us-news/ng-i...
After a three-week trial, a jury found eight of nine protesters guilty of “providing material support to terrorists”, among other crimes. For the Sotos, this “material support” included owning a “printing press” used to print anarchist zines and being part of a leftist book club, the federal government argued. The couple had already left the scene by the time guns were drawn. All eight of the defendants sentenced so far have received unusually harsh sentences – 30 to 100 years – essentially life in prison.

One thing I learned when I was just out of college and watching 6-8 hours of Fox News a day for my research job at Media Matters: Ingesting hours of propaganda on a daily basis changes you, no matter how smart you think you are. If you don't notice the changes, that just makes you an easier mark.
