As the ancient Greeks said: "Fucking finally!". My take on my old stripped Ruglud's armoured orcs who according to lore picked up their heavy armour and crossbows from Chaos dwarves. I spent too much money on 15 extra figures, and they were a lot of work for a dodgy result, but here we are... 💁

Mike McVey converted Woodelf Hero, picture taken for White Dwarf 148 published in 1992!

Here the same model is described as a Level 10 Hero, something which I still refer to from Oldhammer rule sets.

My version of the great Mike McVey model, I hope here you can get the same flavour as that of the model. I used the a spare attack chariot horse and a different embossed shield. 🛡️ I also made the feathers and mushroom from green stuff.

I have tried to replicate the saddle cloth with green stuff. The lance is a dark elf lance instead….the back banner is made in the same method as Mike, and eagle wing glued to metal wire.
Huge amount of work overall took me a month solid during COVID but the end result is my best ever miniature by a mile!

Found this gate in York. It had a standard lock, plus a padlock and a chain holding it shut. It was very very securely closed. The only thing on the other side is a blank wall. The only conclusion I can make is that this is a magic portal to hell.

Right, that's the Jägers finished. Perry miniatures, plus three kneeling Foundry Jägers. Standing-up versions are too smoll, kneeling ones fit rather perfectly actually. Pure magic (and lost on digital sculpts). Hope you like them! Next up: Loads and loads of Germans. #nerdlings #warmongers
