Oathmark: I made and painted a Dwarven Oathmark and as with the other 3, I used air-drying clay. This one has some cracks and damage on the back, where I like to imagine some great evil has attempted to behead it and destroy it. Ironically, the Dwarf one is the tallest! 😅

I finished painting the two British soldiers from @warlordgames.com Epic Battles: Zulu! range. I decided I’d leave them on their own bases. I think it’s suits them! I’m looking forward to the release of this collection, later this month. There are some lovely looking sets. 👍

Oathmark: What am I doing today? I’m cutting pieces of plastic sprue and filing it down and adding a wood-like texture to it so I can make a catapult for my Orcs. Still a ways to go, but I’m enjoying this! 😃👍

Oathmark: The first 10 Orcs are now finished. I’ve got another 10 built and based and ready to start painting. The last 10 will be built as archers. Then I’ve got a box of Dwarf heavy infantry on the way, which will be allied with my humans. 👍

Oathmark: The first 10 Orcs are almost finished, I’ve just got to finish the bases. I’ve also put together the next 8 ready for when the first lot are done. I’m going to end up with 20 Orcs with hand weapons and shields and 10 archers from this first box. 👍

The Battle of Bussaco, 27th Sept 1810, resulted in a decisive tactical victory for Lord Wellington’s Anglo-Portuguese Army over the French forces. Britain & Portugal worked incredibly well together and it cemented their long alliance, which has been in place since 1386 with the Treaty of Windsor.

Oathmark: WIP on my Orc Warlord. After a couple of tests, I decided that I like the reddish brown skin tone best. I’ve still got the details and highlights to do yet. We’re also debating setting the campaign in the Tolkien-verse, although not within the known history. Fun!

Oathmark: I’ve started in the Orc faction. I decided I wanted the unit officer to be a little more intimidating, so I gave him a spare human heavy sword. I also want to add something to the Orc banner pole. But I’ll have to have a think about that. 🤔👍

Fallout: I’m waiting for the prime to dry on my k47 weapon teams, I thought I’d push on with the 2 vault dweller heroes. I’ve really enjoyed painting these 2 and I’m looking forward to getting a campaign written so I can send them off on some adventures through the Wasteland.

Oathmark: I’ve painted a third Oathmark for the second scenario. This one is supposed to be an Elven inspired Oathmark, and as such, it’s less rustic than the other two. The Elves don’t mess about when it comes to architecture! (It’s supposed to be a horse by the way! 😅)

Oathmark: One of the early scenarios in the Oathmark 2ed rulebook calls for the defence of some Oathmarks, so I decided to make some. These are made from air drying clay and I tried to make them look a little rustic and old. I’m quite pleased with them. 👍

Fallout project: I’m at home today, so decided to make a male and female Vault dweller to replace the ones I made about 3 or 4 years ago. These guys will be the playable Heroes of my campaign, with everyone else I’ve made so far, being NPCs and characters to ally with. 👍

Fallout project: WIP on a couple of Vault 66 feral ghouls. The vault suits don’t have the vault number across their backs, as there’s not much room, what with all the straps. But the unfortunate with the helmet is vault security, so I gave his helmet a Vault-Tech symbol. 👍

Oathmark project: I’ve been making some progress on the Oathmark campaign which I’m running for my family and after a few conversations with my brother, I’ve started putting pen to paper. Very early days, but it’s a start. (See Alt for details) I’ve also got Orcs on the way! 😁

This will be how the story will be presented. It has to be simple enough for the kids to follow.

First draft of part of the campaign map. The complete version will be A2 and laminated so that territories held can be drawn onto it.

These are some rough ideas for bonuses received for holding a particular territory. Still need to finish it.

We went to Mottisfont Abbey yesterday. It’s a Grade I listed building, originally built in 1201. Although the majority of the abbey was pulled down on Henry VIII’s orders, Sir William Sandys converted the priory into a mansion and preserved as much of it as he could. 👍

We went to “The Vyne”, which is a Grade I listed, 16th century house, in the parish of Sherborne St John, Hampshire. It’s absolutely stunning both outside and inside and the tour guides have an excellent knowledge of everything on the grounds. Well worth a visit. 👍
