@primawesome

My neighbor told me coyotes keep eating his outdoor cats so I asked how many cats he has and he said he just goes to the shelter and gets anew cat afterwards so I said it sounds like he's just feeding shelter cats to coyotes and then his daughter started crying.

I’m the guy at NHL HQ who’s in charge of making sure all of our major events get overshadowed by things in other sports, they gave me a huge raise for putting the season opener at 5 pm on a weekday at the same time as Game 1 of the MLB playoffs

The thing about wondering if this game is "tainted" because of bad calls or if it's a "legitimate win" is that the Broncos are a ridiculous team who shouldn't ever win anything and their every victory is a burlesque parody of football, every one of our wins is an affront to God. #GoBroncos

peak Dallas sports today. Cowboys blowing it with one second left, and the Rangers failing to become the worst team to ever make the playoffs. this is why we watch also, today's high was 97 degrees. it is Sep. 27

Verlander being taken out of his final game: aww, it's his daughter! he's crying! we're crying! how can you not be romantic about baseball! Scherzer being taken out of his (maybe) final game: and Scherzer is baring his teeth ... and there's the bite! it'll take a few minutes to clean up the blood

If the Rangers win the AL West, ESPN might feel compelled to make a 30 for 30 about the worst playoff team of all time and I wouldn't encourage anyone to watch it.

It's hard, but you have to put yourself back in the shoes of watching Lost at the time. The week-to-week water cooler, the storytelling, the ambition, the characters ... there really was no TV experience like Lost again until Game of Thrones, IMO. It was the whole package

LOST was the single show that gave me the most pleasure to watch in my life. I also am depressed by the mindset that a show's finale constitutes the final-exam grade determining its value--which Lost may bear some responsibility for, but which is an impoverished way to look at art

Six hours racing in 100-degree Texas heat punishes a driver's body. But in WEC, pushing on is the point. I went inside the paddock at Austin and found out how far the sport will go to keep its drivers safe, and where it may still fall short. My story: www.nytimes.com/athletic/756...
