It’s remarkable how many people can move on a street when those people don’t feel the need to always take a massive car with them. Mobility in cities is about space.
Busy European street with buses filled with people in a long line of people on bikes, waiting for the light to change in a separated, protected bike lane. Imagine if all those people or each in a separate car.

For those in hot homes, reflective roof coatings can be a cost-effective way to beat the heat. The upstairs bedrooms and office in Nic Jacobsen’s two storey home in inner-suburban Adelaide used to get unbearably hot, even when his large air-conditioning system was running flat out. Very productive meeting with President Xi for both the U.S.A. and China. Tremendous things will be happening. Like almost everyone else, he seemed to like calling the poorly and inaccurately named Artificial Intelligence to a far more accurate and important name, SUPER INTELLIGENCE. That would be “SUPER!” Everyone last night agreed, also. President DJT

Jaywalking a completely American construct, based on industry lobbying, which doesn't exist in law in UK. We are free to run into traffic wherever we like (except motorways). But pedestrian casualties are lower here because drivers have to take responsibility.

If walking costs you $1, we all pay $0.01. If biking costs you $1, we all pay $0.08. If bussing costs you $1, we all pay $1.50. If driving costs you $1, we all pay $9.20. Via study that still underestimates climate cost. This isn’t about choice. It’s about who pays for your choice. #citymakingmath
