Ravens (crows) clock up to where the Bogong moths are near Mt. Kosciousko. This explains all the hundreds of crows I saw - and heard up at Thredbo on my last visit. That is very satisfying to know as I'd been wondering about that. Related: I'm sure there was a scene like this in LOTR!

Use colour changing smart lights in your house, and on patios & balconies. After sunset, make all those lights turn orange, the colour of fire, which has no blue light, and is less likely to attract the bogong. Suggestion: IKEA smart lights + $139 DIRIGERA hub are excellent. Controls whole house.
