Had 2 FOIs rejected by the Attorney-General's Dept under the rarely used s26(2) - all docs totally exempt from FOI. The docs relate to interference by the former AG, on two seperate occasions, in the appointment process for NACC Dep Com positions. Have appealed both decisions.

I listen to the footy on the radio, I can imagine it without much of the hype. I just watched a last two minutes video. The camera was pointed at people in the crowd who were behaving like Americans. It all seemed a bit clenched fist obnoxious. I don’t think I could watch it on telly now.

The problem with low crime stats is it doesn’t take many crimes to create a large increase by percentage. How stats are quoted makes a huge difference to perception. Victoria remains one of the safest places in the world. #AusPol
