Add the decline of people saying ‘excuse me’ to indicate they’d like to pass you. Just kind of elbowing you away or, worse, walking in your personal space and performative huffing so you move is what we do now apparently. Absolutely endemic and it’s all ages, not just teens. Just be polite!

A historically bad baseball exec. Either oversaw a string of appalling drafts or mismanaged the strategy of a generational core - or a bit of both. Have been saying for years he’s a fraud. Not happy to be vindicated as the O’s are a great club and that was a brilliant group.

Can bear this out. Worked at the BFI and we notionally got 12 free tickets to big ticket screenings at every LFF, but had to apply via ballot and include card details for extra tickets. One year I got them all. The next I got none free and a credit card hit of over £700. Truly bizarre system.

Me and my kid visited the Museum of Home. I saw something that felt like a true attack. It was a scene from a home in 2005. Me and another mom with teens stood there as our kids asked, "you had this?" We were grateful.

Saw PROJECT HAIL MARY on Saturday. That is just a great movie. Been a run of old school story, performance and character driven flicks in the last year - ROOFMAN, CRIME 101 two I also loved. Hope that’s the new norm. Room for these, franchises and high brow stuff.
