I make this post all the time and i have no followers anywhere so it doesn’t matter but i really think we should reconsider “antisocial”(/prosocial) as a buzzword. Its origins are from the nazis and until pretty recently the only use i saw of it was in a very similar way to the nazi use of it

absolutely fucking incredible news for public health in canada that a safer supply organization successfully fought the constitutionality of drug possession trafficking laws for not providing any legal way to operate. selfless life-saving work that is actually being identified and respected as such.
But in her judgment on their constitutional challenge on Tuesday, Murray concluded that a non-medicalized safer supply program is urgently needed to save lives.

And with no legal source of drugs available for such a program, and no legal "safety valves" in the CDSA that would support setting one up, she found such a program "is legally and practically incapable of being exempted."

She said part of the CDSA "unjustifiably infringes" on two parts of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, and deprives DULF members the "right to life and security of the person."

She gave Parliament six months to find a way to allow for a "pathway to non-medicalized safer supply."

Before any politician or public figure responds to a question about what trans people can and can’t do—from a political opponent, from a credulous journalist, from a goading debate moderator—it is important that they stop and say: First of all, this issue is not real, it is manufactured for the purpose of stoking and preying upon bigotry, and treating it as legitimate is incredibly dangerous. This is the same sort of demonization that has given rise to all of history’s greatest atrocities. We believe in human rights and equality and we will not put that up for discussion. This is the immaterial nonsense that the world’s richest man wants us talking about so that we do not talk about confiscating his ill-gotten wealth. This is a desperate attempt by a bunch of bigots to make the rest of us complicit in their abuse of less powerful people, to distract us while they pick everyone’s pockets. This is all bullshit.
