Enough ballots are in that we can predict not only the winners of the primaries, but also the success rates of the big endorsers. I was curious and looked at Seattle Times, Progressive Voters Guide, The Urbanist, The Stranger, and KC Dems. www.wagraphs.com/Endorsement_...
Endorsement success percentages for KC Dems (90%), Progressive Voters Guide (86%), The Stranger (80%), The Urbanist (71%) and The Seattle Times (47%).

This guy is welcome to create any of the following: 1. Establishment Dems Cheat Sheet 2. Do-Nothing Dems Cheat Sheet 3. Roadkill Caucus Cheat Sheet We did it with volunteers - they’d probably need a whole team of overpaid consultants to accomplish what we did = create a dynamic useful website.

Even candidates endorsed by The Stranger have been promoting their ranking on Lefty Cheat Sheet. Candidates don’t like putting in hundreds of hours of unpaid work meeting with dozens of member-driven organizations when there’s a risk that a privately held company might not endorse them.

This is just an objectively better way for progressive Seattleites to get the info they need to vote wisely.

No single organization makes perfect endorsements. Our approach is to show voters how a collection of member-driven, lefty organizations have endorsed and to put the voter one tap away from more detail and context. leftycheatsheet.org#race=ld43_sen

We will never build lasting progressive power in Seattle as long as Seattle progressive voters default to the Stranger's endorsements. Ultimately it's on all of us to persuade our base to look instead at what the larger progressive ecosystem suggests. @electioncheatsheet.org makes that easy.

I think its hard! At the end of the day, they’re a profit-seeking company that makes money on ads and events. I think the best we can do is upflift and promote better actors like @theurbanist.org and @electioncheatsheet.org as Robert suggests bsky.app/profile/robe...

I don’t think it’s healthy for our city or the progressive movement that we’ve gotten to a point where 6 unelected and unaccountable editorial board members have so much influence over the outcomes of our elections

Progressive Voters Guide in Washington State is paid political advertising from a Super PAC (Fuse Votes). The most important (“controversial”) endorsement decisions are made by their Board (largest donors).
Who makes the recommendation decisions?
The Fuse Communications team in consultation with the Campaign Director and the Executive Director make most of the recommendation decisions. The Fuse Board of Directors is consulted on approximately five percent of races that we anticipate will be most controversial.

My $0.02 if you're voting in Seattle today: I found The Stranger and the Washington Progressive Voters Guide to be, at best, center-left and, at worst, moderate, in some of their choices. If you want a true progressive voting guide, I recommend the Lefty Cheat Sheet: electioncheatsheet.org

Fan mail about @electioncheatsheet.org Possibly from KUOW and Seattle Times darling Ms. Godfrey (or someone pretending to be her using a very specific email).
Subject: Please fix the biased crap in the left cheater election cheating list

Message: Hey - please correct the mistakes on the cheating list for Seattle. No contact info.
Seattle Times is not a republican paper. That's insane. This is unfair to manipulate the young white boys into voting for tech bro billionaire funded enviro destroyers from the urbanit world. Let's be accurate.

If you've got truth, fact, and science on your side, no need to cheat.

Hi! If you’re talking about default settings, the first 4 endorsing org categories are enabled, with Lefty Advocacy and Non-profit Media weighed at x2. So in that specific example and set of settings Sawant = 5 points (duals are evenly split), Smith = 3, and Chaudhry = 1, giving us the 5/9 = 0.56
