The city's failure to increase the number of pools as the city grows means two companies in Orléans have built their own pools just to teach kids to swim. Registration issues are the symptom. Insufficient investment in pools is due to extremely low taxes. Set a higher tax cap target.

Met with PSAC workers this morning who are fighting for a fair deal. The Bank of Canada should respect workers’ rights, stop replacing highly trained in-house security officers with contractors & SCABS, & get back to the table. Public institutions should protect workers, not undermine them.
