This money is absolutely meaningless to Elon Musk, but it has the potential to completely rewrite your future. He's spent over $36 million in about 4 weeks, and he's adding millions a day. All to corrupt our government to push his agenda. Let your friends know what's up.

I dont believe that all art is political, but i believe that all art is made with intention. From the cavemen who put their hands on a rock to babies scribbling on a wall, a choice to create was made.

Art, now more than ever, is also shaped by the politics around us. Take the baby for example: does it have the care to be healthy enough to scribble? Does it have access to an item to scribble with? Does it even have a wall to scribble on? What do the parents think about this? And that's just a baby who doesn't know much about the world yet.

We shouldnt pretend that art like movies or games arent political. The people who made it are all shaped by the politics that surrounds them. It can be agreement, criticism, satire. Even the so-called effort by certain people to "stay away from politics" is a message on its own.

"You make destiny 2 art", I do. Wanna know how my art is related to politics? The way i see it, in a world ravaged by generative AI and corporate greed, humanity is an act of rebellion. So though not everything I draw is criticism, they've all became my stand against the thing that's destroying everything i love.

Im shaped by the world. The world is shaped by politics. That same world shapes many other things, including video games. You can choose to ignore that subtext's existence, but do not be mad when someone points out that it's there.

Republicans know that too, but they also know this is something they can make Dems flinch and equivocate about, which makes them look overall weak and indecisive. They did it with immigration last cycle, they did it with gay marriage 20 years ago. The only way to win is to tell them to eat shit

underrated part of El-Sayed’s messaging strategy seems to be shaming journalists who ask dumb questions that play into right-wing frames. you can’t answer these in a way that satisfies them, but you can make it embarrassing enough that you impose a toll on asking.
Abdul El-Sayed: "Weijia, with all due respect, this is the third time you've asked about a Twitch streamer ... their whole game is to make us fight culture wars so that we don't pay attention to the fact the president has made $2.2 billion ... "

Part of the problem of aggressively fighting insurgent candidates is that it reveals to the base that you’re capable of fighting and then the question changes from why can’t they fight to why are they fighting the battles they’re fighting? It’s a spiral and the desperation only makes it worse.
