AI gives companies and governments immense power to change what is "true". It's easy for them to update the single, central tool to produce convincing mistruths and lies to suit whoever is in power. AI should not be in schools.

AI is a microcosm of capitalism in how it externalizes costs. AI makes it incredibly easy to generate mountains of slop that others have to sort through. Whether it's terrible code that needs reviewing, or text that needs facts and sources to be verified. These costs are never seen by the user.
