I watched the House of the Dragon season finale a few days ago and woke up with Ramin Djawadi's music from the final sequence stuck in my head the next morning. Overwhelming work, anchored by white-hot performances by Emma D'Arcy, Matt Smith, Freddie Fox, and Phia Saban. This one stayed with me.

most murders are committed by someone the victim knows - a partner, neighbor etc. but in cases where there is no relationship between murderer & victim? the killer is a cop about a third of the time. if you are killed by a stranger, there is a 1 in 3 chance that stranger is a cop.

GoT omitted the scene where Ned Tells Arya that she reminds him of Lyanna and that she looks like her, and didn’t get anything close to the smoke Dunk&Egg got for omitting the “Night who remembers his vows” line, and cutting Lady Stoneheart didn’t get half the smoke that HotD cutting Nettles did.
