Trialling a posh gym this week and they have what I can only describe as a cuck bench

A bench set up for a standard press but it is situated right in front of the gym meaning anyone lifting here is starting at everyone else doing their workout (couldn't get a better picture didn't want anyone thinking I was taking a picture of them)

Reckon a big driver behind handholding in games is that 00s aggro-review period when linearity was treated like a self-evidently bad thing. So you end up making environments artificially larger and then have to direct the player because your playtesters kept telling you they didn't know where to go.
