DF was acquired by Microsoft, then cut loose recently. They've made great games, including Psychonauts, Costume Quest, Brutal Legend, and so on. Take a look at their catalog and consider buying some, there's something for every taste. (Also see their posts about the Amnesia Fortnight event!)

I admit, with some shame, that I used genAI a handful of times when it was relatively new, out of curiosity. Once that curiosity was satisfied, I have not used it again. So yeah, I would be able to get through any given day without it and would be fine giving it up altogether.

Let me get this straight, you can't run Windows 10 anymore but Windows 11 won't work on computers past a certain age because of all the a.i stuff. So you have to upgrade to a new computer in order to run Windows 11 but because of the a.i. they are no longer selling RAM or hard drives to end users.
