DF was acquired by Microsoft, then cut loose recently. They've made great games, including Psychonauts, Costume Quest, Brutal Legend, and so on. Take a look at their catalog and consider buying some, there's something for every taste. (Also see their posts about the Amnesia Fortnight event!)

I admit, with some shame, that I used genAI a handful of times when it was relatively new, out of curiosity. Once that curiosity was satisfied, I have not used it again. So yeah, I would be able to get through any given day without it and would be fine giving it up altogether.

In the eighties and nineties, there was a bit of a fad here in the states adding "Euro" to a product name to imply... that it was exotic? Perhaps better engineered? Interestingly, that trend has died out, and I doubt any country names products "Ameri-"whatever to entice buyers.
