Fair point. Not trying to imply the two are similar or same. I think it's relevant to pair them because I see this film as an expression of a broader agenda seeking to undermine accommodations and supports for vulnerable groups.

I'm neither for nor against medication. I was diagnosed 31 years ago and I've been unmedicated for 30. Many people find medication helpful, and they don't need the added stigmatisation this film is encouraging.

We don't know the etiology of adhd or autism. There's a chance we never will. Again, the brain and body are complex, which not the same as "complicated"

I mentioned biomarker because that was the point the film hammered on about, which is odd because the specialist the film quoted has over 200 peer reviewed papers noting the functional and structural differences in adhd brains.

No, they're not wrong. There's no single biomarker for ADHD, but that's also true of *many* other conditions. The brain and body are complex, and that's why clinical diagnosis exists and is necessary. There's no single test for climate change either. That doesn't make it a myth.

One of the worst things about the Senate’s attempted Fauci show trial is how the supposed evidence against him is early in COVID he considered multiple hypotheses, then increasingly ruled some unlikely as evidence came in. The objection is he did science. Fundamentally that is what’s under attack.
