Just got it from seeing COYOTE VS ACME, and I know movies hit people in different ways, but this one pressed all my buttons. Surprisingly emotional, and thematically resonant... which are two things i never expected to say about a Looney Tunes movie. You should go see it.

I'm buying a new computer for the 1st time in 16 yrs(!), the longest I've gone between computers. Bought my current machine in 2010 at the liquidation of a local video game developer and it was a beast. But age gets us all. Now I feel like a boomer who last moved in the 70s, dazed at market prices.

I'm a picky moviegoer, so I wanted to see THE ODYSSEY in the opening week, but only in IMAX 70mm, and only in decent seats. It took time but I managed both. Pleased with myself, until the sound cut out at the halfway point. During a tense scene. They paused and fixed it but we lost 10 mins of story.

This puts me in mind of the LAPD defense lawyers' strategy during the Rodney King trial in 1992. They replayed the tape of the beating over and over, often going through frame-by-frame, in an effort to desensitize the jury and make the overall effect less visceral and shocking. Similar tactics here.
