So loads of people are sharing an obvious ai "glow up" of an actual photo. I never share ai stuff even to dunk, but in this case I'm sharing a comparison to show the problem. We have to stand against this slop at every level or it becomes normalised. They want us to stop caring. See alt text.

Following Omnipedia’s announcement on June 18th 2049, some criticism was levelled at its purported status as a successor to Wikipedia. In an op-ed published by The Guardian, Omnipedia was called out as a “deliberate effort to destroy one of the greatest collaborative human achievements, only to replace it with a tightly curated mouthpiece for corporations and sponsors.” The op-ed also branded Hsiung’s call for former Wikipedians to join Omnipedia as “adding insult to murder.”

The people who make deeply silly mods are braver than the troops and deserve more praise. This mods adds denim jeans to everything in old DOS classic Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure. EVERYTHING. Not just characters, but crates, powerups, etc. Similar levels of commitment to silly as Jimbo's Big Naturals.

Nine Sols easily got into my Top 3 this year. It's weird not seeing it in other lists - it's polished, the combat is amazing (the bosses!!!) and even the world-building keeps up. I have much more fun than what I had in Hollow Knight, mainly thanks to the combat.
