The best part about the OOT remake (or any remake) is that the OG doesn’t suddenly stop existing. If you don’t like the new art direction etc, that’s fine. You can always go back and play the original. I know I’m beating a dead Epona here, but you don’t HAVE to play the remake.

I played Terranigma back in like… 2002 I think. Emulated the PAL version. This has been one of my favorite games ever. You need to play it. It came out in 1995 but is superbly coded! Beautiful graphics, great ost, INCREDIBLE story. Be the Hero who resurrects the world.

Hey so this game was just announced as getting a remaster in 2027. First time it’s officially released outside of PAL regions. It’s a masterpiece. Do NOT skip this one. This game does things that were absolutely nuts for the time it came out.

Monster Arena fights are so fun because not only do you get a fantastic remix of the original game’s battle theme but the battle VA is replaced by an MC that’s commenting on your every move. I just think that’s neat. A little whimsy goes a long way #Octopath0
