Some of you know I lost my job back in June due to what was effectively legalized discrimination against me based on illness and my transness in a Southern state. The timing couldn't be worse because I was already financially slipping and struggling to find a cheaper apartment to alleviate the strain. And on top of that, I just couldn't find work at all for over a month. No one in the South was willing to hire a trans woman, let alone with a wage high enough to pay my bills and feed me.

As a desperate gambit, I withdrew what little 401K deposit I had and moved up north to a state that, if nothing else, wouldn't be actively hostile to my existence. With the hopes that I could weather the initial instability, find a job and housing, and eventually settle in.

It has now been a month since I moved. My money is completely gone and I have neither long term housing nor a job despite my best efforts. My bank account is in the negative, I'm drowning in debt that's been building for years, I have multiple unpaid bills that absolutely need to be paid for my own safety and sustainability, and I need food and medication, of which I have neither. And this airbnb I rented for a month (which is absolutely bare minimum; I don't even have kitchen access outside the microwave and fridge) runs out on the 24th.

The good news is I did secure 2 job interviews after all this time, one tomorrow for a part time job about 40 minutes from here, and another Tuesday for a more practical full time job in my current town. However as it stands, I literally don't have enough money for gas to get to tomorrow morning's interview, and I absolutely CAN'T miss it as it's the first real callback I got after applying to dozens of jobs, including going door to door in my town. I can make this work, but I NEED to buy more time, and I lack the money to do it. And that's why I'm asking for help.

I appreciate anything anyone can offer more than you can possibly know. Below are rough estimates of how much money I need and when. How far I will continue to need help depends on how quickly I get hired
## Expenses I need paid tonight (2026-09-06)
* $50– Tank of Gas (I'm almost empty and I need get to and from interview tomorrow morning)
* $50– Dinner tonight and meals tomorrow (have not eaten since this morning)
* **$100 total**
## Expenses I need paid by the end of tomorrow (2026-09-07)
* $50– medication that I'm annoyingly running out of all at the exact same time after tomorrow (including my blood pressure meds, which I do not want to risk skipping).
* $100– Grocery shopping (not sure how long this will last, but I'll have time to actually do so and greatly reduce how much money i need to spend on food daily, even if i am limited to the fridge the microwave and I'll be as economical as possible)
* $10– Laundromat and possible cost of street parking as I drive to these interviews (this is a rough estimate; hopefully it'll be less)

* $60– Overdue car insurance payment (it was due the 1st)
* $100– Overdue storage unit (it was also due the 1st and has what few belongings I was able to stuff in my car when I moved. It's out of state and my plan is to pay it off and move all the belongings to a much more local unit that's dramatically cheaper)
* $80– Replace a flat tire (my car is currently on a donut and it's unlikely my flat tire can be patched)
* $150– Get my overdrawn checking and overmaxed credit card back in passable standing

I will continue to need money for groceries, though I don't have a number yet. And I'll need money for a place to stay after the 24th (this airbnb was the cheapest I could find in the area and it cost $1139 for a month for context, but I can also rent cheaper shorter term places that will hopefully bridge me over until I get a job started and get myself back a float in general. I have way more expenses and debts to pay including a maxed out credit card and a loan and medical bills, but those can all be pushed back so I rather not put that on you.

Point is, every bit you are willing to help me with AND WITHOUT PUTTING YOURSELF IN FINANCIAL DANGER will be so so helpful to me.

I'm really sorry to ask for help. I hate doing it. I want to be the saint and not the sainted as much as I can help. But I'll try my best to not doom over that and accept whatever you can offer if you wish. Please and thank you so much.
