it’s october, which means its EXTRA important to keep our black kitties safe this spooky season. 👻🐈‍⬛ black cats are some of the funniest, sweetest, and talkative kitties out there. stop the stigma surrounding them. they’re angels, and that’s IT. 👏🏻

Haven't played a lot of DW3 Remastered yet but I do like what I'm seeing so far. I didn't want it to be Origins with the maps from DW3, I wanted it to feel dangerous like the older games, but with modern improvements. I wanted it to feel like how someone remembers the older games.

Ralph is showing interest in food at least. He got up and looked at the food bowl when I brought it in and sat back down. Took it and now he has a buffet of tiny amounts of different foods in his bowl, hopefully he digs into one of them.

I went to take my meds tonight and realized I hadn’t taken them this morning. I was so caught up getting Ralph’s check in with the vet and appetite medicine I forgot to get my own meds in. Do me a favor, don’t tell @misserichan.bsky.social

Someone on the hellsite got real mad at me when I post this on 9/30 one year. See, people don't understand dad jokes. A dad joke is a joke that only the dad laughs at.

Don't forget we have to wake up Green Day tomorrow.

Last night Ralph made the jump into bed with me. At about 4am I caught him going to the bathroom (outside of his litter box, so I moved the litter box where he went, not that I minded cleaning up).

Ralph looks like hell and smells worse. Not being able to groom himself is taking its toll. But his breathing isn’t near as labored and much quieter than this morning. That’s improvement I think.

First day back at work since Ralph got sick. This is the first time (other than when I was asleep last night) that he hasn’t been supervised. According to the vet he should be fine, but damn if I’m not thinking about him all day today.

Possessor Fessor @professorfessor.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

With everything that happened the past two days I forgot about this. I’ma just rapid fire the last four.

Possessor Fessor @professorfessor.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

My cat, Ralph, is moving from comfy spot to comfy spot. He is still breathing heavily but before I could hear him struggling more, so that’s a good sign I think. Sam still smells the vet on Ralph though and is being aggressive. I’m taking him to stay with my parents while I’m at work.

Possessor Fessor @professorfessor.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

This cat only loves one human. He tolerates one cat, and hates everyone else. Fortunately this vet understands that and lets me be in the on with him when they draw blood.

Possessor Fessor @professorfessor.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Me and the cat are at the emergency vet. He’s having stomach issues, he crapped himself and was breathing very heavily afterwards and not getting up for a while. Please don’t suggest diagnoses, that’s why I’m at the vet and I don’t want to be more upset than I already am.

Random encounters are fine when fights aren’t long and drawn out. Unless you’re in the final area of the game most monsters should die in 1-2 turns. And bonus points if it’s a game like SaGa where you don’t have to worry about recovering HP between fights (in most games)

The beautiful thing about the internet is you can find your own interests and be completely wrapped up in non-mainstream culture in ways that would have been impossible 20 years ago. As time moves on this will continue to happen more. Cultural touchstones will become increasingly more rare.

Faxanadu is the Famicom Xanadu. It’s no different than Mario 64 being the Nintendo 64 Mario game. Look up Famicom games and you’ll see a lot that have Family at the beginning (for Family Computer). That is why it’s pronounced like Fa-Xanadu.

If someone came into an interview with an iced coffee I wouldn’t hire them. Not because there is a problem with iced coffee, just that they are too terminally online.
