Watched Smile 2. Well, that was traumatizing. I'd heard great things about it, but I was not prepared to watch such an unnerving descent into madness. Some scenes have certainly ingrained themselves into my mind. Excellent start to the horror season.

Control Resonant is not afraid to be obtuse. Getting lost is part of the experience, but it doesn't have to be frustrating. Learning about your surroundings is so much more rewarding than just letting the game hold your hand all the way through. Friction is good.

Finished Control Resonant. Any skepticism I had about Dylan as a protagonist was unfounded. His turn as the hero raises the bar in every way. The psychedelic level design needs to be played to be believed. Only Remedy can commit to such mind-bending action sequences that fire on all cylinders.
