Today's crash at Petaluma Airport has me looking up traffic patterns at O69. I'm reading that the downwind leg should be north/west of Old Adobe Road, but avoid overflights of Adobe SHP. Is the short leg before Casa Grande (with a steep descent)? Is the downwind leg way far out? Am I misreading?

Re-posting this because from all the "yay Canada, this is good" responses, I see I didn't strongly enough stress the main point I meant to make, which is that well-intentioned efforts like this that rely solely on the honor system are essentially meaningless

LRT, the frustrating thing is that all of this is honour system stuff and I can't see a way it won't be since all the AI checkers are bullshit and throw false-positives. But if you didn't know: ISBNs are free in Canada. I will be super pissed if they have to impose a fee because of the slop.

yeah. Just Googling around, and based on flying right seat with my uncle back in my youth, the standard pattern is outside Adobe Road, so to get there relative to the runway seems like a nasty stall climbing, assuming they took off 29. Yikes.

That's quite a debris field. I'm trying to figure out where it is. Based on the road and parking at 40:32 and the fact that they've closed E. Washington, I think it's maps.app.goo.gl/FbKM6W1bk8q4... which isn't in-line with the runway.
